Mohare Danda

Mohare Danda (Mohare Hill) is a rather light Himalayan trek to a viewpoint (3320m) in the Annapurna area from where you can see Dhaulagiri and the entire Annapurna mountain range in all its beauty. It is a good alternative to the Poon Hill trek, of about the same level.

This trek is less known to most walkers so you can enjoy a piece of pure nature and authentic Nepalese hospitality. The landscape is very varied from villages through rice fields surrounded in the lower areas to rocky terrain higher up. In March and April you can enjoy the beautiful rhododendron forests in bloom.

This trek is also sometimes called Nepal Eco Trek or Rhododendron Trek.

The overnight stays are in trekkers lodges and homestays (minimum comfort).

This trek can be done in the months of September through May. This trek can also be combined with Poon Hill, Khopra and / or Annapurna Base Camp.
