Mardi and Chitwan

Six days trekking in the Annapurna massif, up to 4300m altitude. The jungle in Chitwan, a rafting adventure and a visit to the royal cities in the Kathmandu valley make this trip complete.
Mardi-trek is a short, adventurous trekking intermediate level, which gives you a very nice impression of the Himalayas in a less touristic area. You will pass rice fields and rhododendron forests. Different viewpoints on the way offer  a fantastic view of the Annapurna's Machapuchhre, Mardi Himal and Ganggapurna on a clear day. Upper View Point is located at the foot of Mardi Himal at 4300m.
This trek is less known to most hikers so you can enjoy a piece of pure nature and authentic Nepalese hospitality. Along the way you  will stay and eat in trekkers lodges. During a day of rafting and overnight at the River Beach Camp, you will discover the beautiful Himalayan rivers of Nepal. At the later part of  trip you will  visit the Chitwan National Park. In this park on the border with India yow will explore the jungle with canoe, elephant and by foot. You will stay in a lodge on the edge of the national park (Meghauli).
You will visit Swayambhunath, beautiful Buddhist temple in Kathmandu, also known as the "monkey temple" and  located on a hilltop from which you have a beautiful view over the city. Bhaktapur is a rather quiet town in the Kathmandu valley, protected world heritage site and famous for its pottery and carvings.
