Description of the trip:
After a short acclimatization time in the vibrant capital Kathmandu, we are heading towards Pokhara and the Annapurna mountain range.
In Pokhara nearby the Fewa-lake, you will be close to the mountains. On clear days, views at the surrounding green hills and the Himalayan peaks, are spectacular.
One of the most impressive mountain ranges in the Himalayas is the Annapurna massif. With this trek you get upto the Sanctuary, a horseshoe shape with giant ice walls all around. At the highest point of the trek, you will be surrounded by ten peaks, most of which are above 7000m (including Annapurna I, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre / Fishtail).
This is an exceptional trek because you will be in the middle of the highest mountains without having to climb very high.
All trek can be done with overnight in lodges (minimum comfort). A good health and basic physical condition are required.
Experience in mountain hiking is not needed.
You are free to choose whether you want a porter to carry your luggage or not.
In the cities both culture and leisure time are possible (Hindu temples, Buddhist stupa, shopping, restaurants, etc.).
The transportation on this trip is per tourist bus (for the longer distances) and private car.
Do you want to join only for the Annapurna Base Camp trek (11-19 Oct)? Please contact us for your price and arrangements.
