This trek in the Everest area leads you both to the popular places such as Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar, but also to more unknown paths such as Chhukung and “the fifth lake” (Ngozumba).
You don’t have to be a climber, we stick to hiking on the trekking routes. Yet this trait cannot be underestimated. The many passes and overnight stays at high altitudes in basic conditions makes the trek difficult. You get acquainted with the typical Sherpa culture in the local villages.
You go over several glaciers, along lakes at high altitudes and of course about “the three passes”: Khongma La (5535m), Cho La (5330m) and Renjo La (5360m). There are beautiful viewpoints with views of the Everest mountain range, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Rolwaling mountain range, etc. This is a tough trek that requires good physical condition, health and perseverance. Experience in mountain hiking is a plus.
We spend the night in lodges (minimum comfort) along the trekking route.
Max. 8 participants for this group trip! Departure guaranteed; there are still free places.
