This group tour with NarPhu Trek is the ultimate trip for those looking for authenticity. Especially recommended for adventurous and sporty people not longing for luxury.
The remote, rough valleys of Nar and Phu were only opened to tourists in 2003, and until today it remains one of the less known trekking areas.
By walking in the Himalayas from lodge to lodge, you will explore this impressive region (home of the snow leopard).
We start hiking in Koto, a village along the Annapurna Circuit. The route leads through forests, via rocky paths, cliffs, local villages and passing many Buddhist chortens. The villages of Nar and Phu, are situated at an altitude of approximately 4000m altitude above sea level. It is an adventurous trek which let you meet “the real Nepal”.
Crossing the Kangla pass (5320m) is the most challenging part of the trek.
After crossing the pass you will be rewarded by the beautiful nature along the Annepurna Circuit for the last two days of the trek.
Overnight while on trekking will be in trekkers lodges (minimum comfort) and 1 night in a Buddhist monastery.
Experience in mountain hiking is not required, but good health and fitness are necessary.
A rafting adventure (Trishuli-river), some cultural city visits (Kathmandu and Bhaktapur) and a visit to the country side, are completing your journey.
