Exploring different parts of Nepal in which you are acquainted with the Nepalese culture, hospitality and the impressive beauty of the Himalayas.
Without multi-day Himalaya trek from lodge to lodge, you will enjoy discovering nature, religion and the views with day trips and short hikes (max. 4-5 hours).
After the first impressions of the real Nepali life at the countryside and in Bhaktapur, we head to the south of the country.
In Chitwan National Park you have the opportunity to discover the jungle by elephant back safari, from a wooden canoe or during a jungle hike. This park on the border with India ensures the protection of the endangered Bengal tiger, rhinoceros, crocodiles, bears, snakes, deer, numerous species of birds, etc.
In Pokhara, Sarangkot and Bandipur you are close to the mountains and clear weather will give you a fantastic view at the Himalayan peaks and surrounding hills.
Culture and religion are thoroughly explored in Patan and Kathmandu. where also Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath will be visited. Both great and important shrines annually visited by thousands of pilgrims. Boudhanath is a large Buddhist stupa and the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is a Hindu cemetery and temple, also known as The Temple of Living Beings. Both religions go side by side.
Two domestic flights and private transportation are the main means of transport on this trip. Accommodation is in standard and luxury hotels. This trip can be made all year round, best seasons are autumn and winter.
Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu
Airport pick-up in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel nearby Thamel (the main tourist hub of Kathmandu).

Day 2 : Kathmandu
Visit Swayambunath (the monkey temple) with guide and transportation. Free afternoon in Kathmandu. (durbar square is on walking distance of the hotel)

Day 3 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
Taxi from hotel to domestic airport and then flight to Chitwan. Transfer to Meghauli, a quiet village on the edge of Chitwan Nationaal Park. The jungle team will introduce you to the resort and the jungle. First jungle activity (see day 4).

Day 4 : Chitwan
Explore Chitwan National Park with a local jungle guide. Jungle activities (in no particular order) are:
- elephant safari
- jungle walk
- elephant bathing
- bird watching
- Tharu cultural show
- canoe

Explore Chitwan National Park with a local jungle guide. (see day 4)

Day 6: Chitwan - Pokhara
Transport to airport and then flight to Pokhara. Free afternoon in this beautiful city located nearby Fewa Lake.

Day 7 : Pokhara
A pleasant walk to the World Peace Pagoda on a hilltop nearby (for a fantastic view on clear days) and back to your hotel in Pokhara Lakeside (with guide).

Day 8 : Pokhara - Bandipur
Private transport to the hilltop of Sarangkot to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna mountain range.
Hike back to the city (around 2 hours downhill hike) .
In the afternoon transport (around. 2 hours by car) to mountain village Bandipur.

Day 9: Bandipur - Bhaktapur
Free morning in Bandipur, an authentic village with great views and culture.
Private transport (around 5.5 hours drive) to royal city Bhaktapur.

Day 10 : Bhaktapur
City visit Bhaktapur and nearby Newari pottery town Thimi with guide en transport.

Day 11 : Bhaktapur - Balthali
Private transport to Balthali ( about 1 hour drive). Balthali is a traditional village surrounded by green hills.
Who wants, can follow the guide for a short walk in and around the village.

Day 12 : Balthali - Patan
A few hours walking today, through beautiful nature up to the Buddhist monastary Namobuddha ; with guide.
After visiting Namobuddha, we bring you to the third royal city Patan (private transport).

Day 13 : Patan - Boudha
City visit Patan with guide and later transport to Boudha.

Day 14: Boudha
City tour of Boudhanath (Buddhist stupa and monastery) and Pashupatinath (Hindu temple and cemetery)
with guide and transport.

Day 15 : Departure
Free day.
Transport to the airport for your international departure.
