The Langtang Gosaikunda trekking area is situated to the north of the Kathmandu valley. We can reach to Syabrubesi (the starting point of the trek) within 6 to 7 hours by local bus or jeep. This trekking combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda.https://www.treknepal.be/wp-admin/post.php?post=308&action=edit
The langtang Himalaya range , Tsergo Ri, small Tamang vilages and Gosaikunda are the main attractions of this trekking. During the trek we will see and meet not only the local people, we will also visit a local factory such as a yak cheese factory and/or a bakery.
The entire trek can be done with accommodation in trekkers lodges (minimum comfort). A good health and basic fitness is required.
Private instead of local transportation is possible on request.
Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu - Syabru Besi
Drive Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1450m)
Local transportation can be changed into private transportation on request. Ask us about the price and options.

Day 2: Syabru Besi - Lama Hotel
First day hiking from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2380m) – around 6hrs

Day 3: Lama Hotel - Langtang
Lama Hotel to Langtang (3370m around 5hrs) –

Day 4: Langtang - Kyangin Gompa
Langtang to Kyangin Gompa (3750m)

Day 5: Kyangin
Kyangin to the top of Tsergo Ri (5033m) and back to lodge Kyangin (6 to 7 hrs)
Visiting Tsergo Ri (peak at 5033m) is optional. Who prefers so, or who is feeling not well, can visit a lower peak Kyangin Ri (4773m) or have a relaxing walk in the valley.

Standard transportation is local (jeep or bus).

Whatever you choose, you will get transport upto your hotel or guesthouse in Kathmandu. (overnight not included)

Price Details
Prices – valid for your trek in 2024
€942 per person (on the basis of 2 persons)
The price for a single person is €1122.
Groups from 3 to 5 persons : €822 per person.
Groups from 6 to 9 persons : €759 per person.
Ask for your price via info@treknepal.be when you are with more than 9 trekkers.
Who wants, can enjoy the service of a porter for his/her luggage. It will cost you €288 for the full trek and you can give max. 12kg of luggage per porter.
