A journey with a lot of variation in which you are visiting the three types of climate and nature in Nepal: the warm lowlands with its nature parks and jungles, the hills full of culture, religion and architectural gems and of course the Himalayas (with a 5-days trek). This trip is also offered as group tour.
This package offers you the wonderful impressions of the Himalayas during a short trek, a few days jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, various city tours, a day at the countryside, and a look at Mount Everest during a special “mountain flight”.
Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath are visited during the city visits. Both very important shrines which are annually visited by thousands of pilgrims. Boudhanath is a Buddhist stupa and the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is a Hindu cemetery and temple, also known as “The Temple of Living Beings.
Bhaktapur is a quiet town in the Kathmandu valley, protected world heritage and well known for its pottery. Pokhara is a beautiful city to relax after your Himalaya trek, perfectly located nearby Fewa Lake and splendid mountain views. There are cafes and restaurants, and lots of other things to do (go boating, get a foot massage, visit the mountaineering museum, …).
The multi-day hike in this journey is a short and rather light trek, where you will get a very nice impression of the Himalayas. You will pass through typical villages, past rice fields, rhododendron forests and also by higher rocky areas with a chance of snow. Sunrise at Poon Hill (3200m) is the highlight of this trek, where you get a fantastic view in good weather over the highest peaks under a red glow.
This trek is also possible with children because of the rather short hiking distances. You are never far away from the villages so that an additional porter or horse can be used in case of problems.
The Chitwan Jungle experience is a trip to the south of the country. This park on the border with India provides protection to the endangered Bengal tiger, rhinoceros, crocodiles, bears, snakes, deer, numerous species of birds, etc. You explore the magnificent scenery from the back of an elephant, from a wooden canoe or during a jungle walk.
In Dadhikot you will stay in our own bed&breakfast at the countryside, far away from tourism, very quiet situated between the rice fields, with a view of the capital at one side and the Himalayas on the horizon at the other side.
OPTION: A tandem flight (paragliding in Pokhara) is done by a pilot with its passenger, each with their own harness which is attached to each other and to the parachute. The paragliding harness is designed for your comfort and safety. As a tandem passenger you can enjoy great views and an exceptional experience.
