    After 6 to 7 hours drive from Kathmandu, we will arrive in Syabru Besi which is our starting point for the trek.

    This area offers you a wide variation of sceneries, from rice fields to high mountains. We will pass through 2 national parks (Langtang National Park and Shivapuri National Park).

    The peak of Tsergo Ri , the holy Gosainkunda Lakes, Shivapuri forest and the authentic villages of this area, are the attractions of this trek. The most challenging parts will be hiking up to Tsergo Ri (5033m) and crossing the Lauribinayak pass (4610m).

    • Day 1 : Kathmandu - Syabru Besi

      Drive Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1450m)

    • Day 2 :Syabru Besi - Lama Hotel

      First day trekking from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2380m) – around 6 hrs walking

    • Day 3 : Lama Hotel - Langtang

      Lama Hotel to Langtang (3370m )- around 5 hrs walking

    • Day 4 : Langtang - Kyangin

      A short hike (approx. 3 hrs) from Langtang to Kyangin Gompa (3750m).

      In autumn season one can visit the local cheese factory in Kyangin (where cheese is produced from yak-milk).

    • Day 5 : Kyangin

      A climb from Kyangin to the top of Tsergo Ri (5033m) is possible for the adventurers among us.   It will take 6 to 7 hrs for this trip.
      Others can visit another nearby peak or stroll around the valley.

      Overnight in the same lodge back in Kyangin.

    • Day 6 : Kyangin - Lama Hotel

      Hiking back down today, in 6 to 7 hrs from Kyangin to Lama Hotel.

    • Day 7 : Lama Hotel - Thulo Syabru

      Walk up and down in around 6 hours from Lama Hotel to the beautiful forests around Thulo Syabru.

      Tonight we sleep at 2210m altitude.

    • Day 8 : Thulo Syabru - Sin Gompa

      It will take about 5 hours hiking (mainly uphill) from Thulo Syabru to Sin Gompa (3254m).

    • Day 9 : Sin Gompa - Gosainkunda

      After our acclimatization in Kyangin, we can go today immediately from Sin Gompa to Gosainkunda.

      Gosainkunda is situated at 4350m and has different lakes on this idyllic spot.  These lakes are also known as “the holy lakes” and attract hundreds of Hindu pilgrims every year in August.

    • Day 10 : Gosainkunda

      Exploration day around Gosainkunda.

    • Day 11 : Gosainkunda - Phedi

      Wake up early today for the hike from Gosainkunda to Ghopte/ Tharepati (3510m).

      First stage is the crossing of the Laurebina Pass (4610m).  Later is goes more downhill, passing rocky areas and waterfalls.

      Overnight in a simple homestay as there are no trekkers lodges available here.

    • Day 12 : Phedi - Kutumsang

      Trekking downwards from Ghopte/ Tharepati to Kutumsang (2446m) in around 6 hrs.

      During the trip of yesterday and today we saw the vegetation change from alpine over sub-alpine to mountain mossy forest.

    • Day 13 : Kutumsang - Chisapani

      A 5 hours trek along beautiful hills and valleys brings us from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2194m).

    • Day 14 : Chisapani - Kathmandu

      Last hike from Chisapani till Sundarijal (1360m-around 1 ½ hrs).

      From Sundarijal drive to Kathmandu or Bhaktapur as desired.
      Local transportation is included, private transportation can be arranged for you on request.

    PRICES – valid for your trek in 2024

    €1037 per person (when booking for 2 persons)

    Or €1245 for 1 person (single trekker)

    Groups from 3 to 5 persons pay €903 per person.
    Groups from 6 tot 9 persons pay €833 per person.

    Who wants, can enjoy the service of a porter for his/her luggage, at €330 for the full trek. Max. 12 kg / porter.
    Guests who carry their own luggage, don’t pay this extra cost.
