Trip Map
Quick Inquiry
This is a short trek in the impressive Annapurna region. The hike will lead you through authentic villages passing fields, forests and rocky areas. You will stay overnight in typical trekkers lodges and a single time in a local home-stay in the more remote Khopra region.
It is a rather light trek. On the first day a jeep will bring you up from Pokhara to Ghandruk, from where you start walking uphill towards Tadapani. On the third day Muldai viewpoint will be reached. The pull leads you back to Ghandruk by making a loop.
In Ghandruk and at some places along the trail, you will have a great view of the mountains when the weather is clear. At Muldai viewpoint you will be surrounded by high peaks such as: Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, the Annapurna mountain range, and Machhapuccher (Fishtail). Some parts of the route go along untrodden paths to villages where little or no tourists will be seen.
Overnight in Dobato will be a local home-stay with minimum comfort and limited food choices. Other nights are in hikers’ lodges (basic comfort).
A normal health and good basic fitness is needed for this trek. Experience in mountain hiking is not required.
Your luggage can be carried by a porter if you wish so (price is mentioned separately).
